Look what arrived on my doorstep this Saturday!!! My suzani! And it's bigger and better than I thought it was going to be. I also said i would post a photo of my newly framed Good Shape Design print. They go together perfectly! Or least I think so :) My husband even thinks it's great. So I have to give myself and A++! I am finally feeling like our master bedroom is complete. I still want a new bed though. ;)

Oh TV..how do I make the pretty?

I have to have a TV in our bedroom. No question. But I hate that it just sits on top of this ugly dresser that I painted, off center (because of my Tivo and DVD player sit on the other side), and chunky looking. So, I've been searching around some designer's projects to see how they use TV's as decor. I love the idea of using a buffet or credenza to place a flat screen on. You still have the storage space you need for clothes or whatever, but I think it brings something nontraditional to the room. I love this Chinese credenza on ebay right now. What do you think? Is a buffet or credenza the way to go instead of an armoire?

Just saw this over at Apartment Therapy's blog and had to share with my readers. They are called Sun Jars from designer Tobi Wong and you can purchase them HERE. Leave these sandblasted jars in the sunlight during the day and watch them come alive with sunlight at night. I just love the beautiful orange glow they give off.

Last night, my husband and I took my Dad out for a nice dinner since he was in town for a business meeting. Some friends of mine told me I should try Tillman's Roadhouse. Well, let me tell you..........FABULOUS food but even BETTER mouth dropping decor.

I decided to recover my bench I bought at the Roundtop flea market in April. What do you think? I also bought the curtains at Ikea last weekend. I'm thinking about doing a really pretty trim on them....

One of my favorite rooms...

I planted quit a bit of green plants last night for my patio and it reminded me of my favorite green room that wasfeatured in the November 2006 edition of Domino Mag. they are also featuring it in their small spaces slide show. I love this green! I love the stripes! And I love the zebra rug!

Man- I forgot home much great stuff is on Jayson Home & Garden. I might not be able to afford a lot of it, but it at least gives me some ideas of what I like and what to look for at flea markets or on ebay. You never know, sometimes you can find items that look like these for $10. All they might need is a little pick me up!
