Monogram frienzy!!!

I don't know, but after reading a "Preppy" article in D Home magazine the other week I have been in a monogramming mood! I just ordered white towels from Horchow that I am getting monogrammed in black for my bathroom and bright blue for the guest bath. And......I just bought a beautifully delicate little linen pillow from etsyseller Mommiesbee that she is monogramming for me. I am having her do a big red block "H". I'm putting it on our bed that has my beautiful black, red and white Suzani.

Oh...and I am looking to monogram the edge of my pillow cases in black with mine and my husbands initials on it. All of this could be way too much....don't worry I know that. But we will see once I get my little pillow and towels in.

Does anyone else like to monogram?

Ok- so I am contemplating buying this really cool credenza on ebay. I need something in my bedroom (where I have my beautiful black, red and white Suzani) to put a flat screen on that acts as a storage unit as well. Is it worth it? Would I be getting a good deal? I don't know. But what I do know is I love it!!!

My other weekend purchase...

So I went into my favorite consignment store here in Dallas, Again & Again. I have been looking for a beautiful antique lamp to sit on my entryway dresser for a while now and found the perfect one. Isn't it adorable???

I saw heaven this weekend!

So I finally made my way over to Mecox Gardens! I think I about died as soon as I walked in. Since I couldn't afford anything in there I just drooled. All over the store were these gorgeous bright green moss balls made out of real cat tail. They had very small ones and very big ones. I'm serious when I say they were everywhere. Strategically placed in beautiful bowls and vases throughout the store. So I asked how much they were....to my surprise..they were AFFORDABLE! So that's what I bought. Three medium sized moss balls made out of cat tails and two made out of real moss. I love them. Oh...and I finally bought the book I have been dreaming of,Kelly Wearstler's Domicilium Decoratus.

My Labor Day Weekend!

My family and I just booked this villa with a fabulous oceanfront view in Montego Bay, Jamaica for labor day weekend! I am pumped! There are 7 of us going including my two sisters and their boyfriends. It will be a blast---and very much needed! Just wanted to share. :)
